Our lovingly restored hotel rooms feature antique furnishings and sumptuous bedding. Each room is named after an historical figure with a connection to the hotel’s rich past.

You could be in ‘Annie’s Room’, named after the original proprietress of the Theatre Royal; German born Annie Anderson ruled the roost for 40 years! Or perhaps it will be ‘King Dicks’ Room named after our most famous resident, Richard John Seddon who was Kumara`s first mayor and N.Z`s longest serving Premier.

Each room features a contemporary ensuite with shower and double vanity. we have one accessible room on the ground floor and five rooms on the first floor accessed by stairs.
